REAL-TIME SHIPPING CALCULATIONS
Shopping-Q supports real-time shipping calculations for UPS and FedEx through an optional add-in module.

When this feature is active on a compatible server, the store will communicate with UPS and FedEx during customer checkout to determine the shipping charges for the order being placed. The customer will know right then during checkout what the shipping charges will be for the shipping method they selected.

The store takes into account the customer's "ship to" address, the order's weight and items ordered, and the shipping method selected when communicating with UPS and FedEx servers.

SECURE COMMUNICATIONS
SSL is used for maximum security during the 2-way communications between the store and UPS / FedEx.

STORE MANAGER CONTROL
The store manager has the ability to add additional handling charges (flat amount or a percentage) to each order. Also, the specific types of shipping methods available for customer selection (ground, overnight, 2nd day, etc...) can be controlled for both domestic and international shipments.
